We did it.
Ok children. Last night we went to part of the West Brook Football Game. Mostly to watch the band. Let me just say this, the West Brook Band kicked Ozen's band.
We left during the 3rd quarter and headed out to Bragg Road. It was Pam, Rush, Chase and myself. Pam and Rush were sitting up front while Chase and I sat in the back. Now Bragg Road itself is 8 miles long and when you are going about 5 miles an hour, it takes a long time. Even longer if you stop the car to listen for noises.
We wern't on the road 30 seconds and we saw some kind of lights. It wasn't car head lights from the other way, because you can tell car head lights from a long way away. Within 5 minutes, Chase was in my lap with a blanket over his head. It was cool for me when he put his head on my shoulder. Every time he said something, it sounded like he was going to cry. That's when I whispered into his ear that I loved him and was proud of him for at least coming with us. I nearly started crying when he told me thanks for and inviting and that he loved me too.
And leave it to Chase to break the silence. We were all quiet with the windows down going very slow, and what does Chase do. Fart, in my lap. We all started laughing after we realized what happened. After we made it to the other side of Bragg Road, we went the wrong way to get home and went about at least an hour and a half out of the way before we got headed into the correct direction.
We had a great time, and we are going to go bowling sometime over this Labor Day weekend. And I am going back to Bragg Road tomorrow night with Candy from Big Dog 106 and perhaps Spot from Big Dog as well. I shall make a post about it later.
You kids be safe.
